You Am I

I saw one of the best rock and roll bands this country has ever produced last night at the enmore. Normally I'm quite satisfied with drawing one or two sketches, but I felt compelled to do more. They played two albums worth, so I had plenty of time to sketch. Here is a selection, for more please visit my blog here. Cheers, Meegan

  1. Hi, Meegan,
I love them a~ll! Sketching musicians is a fun, but sometimes, not easy to looking at a stage and paper at hand = want to enjoy a stage!!

    1. i know exactly what you mean, Sadami. Its a very conflicting emotion - to draw or not to draw! Cheers, Meegan

  2. These are great! I've never tried sketching at a gig before but that would be fun. I love You Am I but haven't seen them for years. I definitely get a sense of Tim Rogers' energy in those impressionist sketches. And that first one of the amp set-up is super cool!

    1. Thanks Jodi. I'm glad you can see the essence of Tim. It was a great show, if I had the money I would have gone again on Sunday!
